Poor Poor Roger Williams-Someone Posted Tea Bags and Anti-Williams Papers on his office door

Had to laugh at this article in the Glen Rose Reporter because it sounded like it came straight from a politicians' press release department.   I was actually surprised that Amanda Kimble did not list this as an editorial rather than just "Special to the Glen Rose Reporter". I called to ask where this article which was on the front page below the fold in the October 3, 2013 issue came from, since you can't tell from the byline and was told it came directly from Congressman Roger William's office to the Reporter, and the Reporter put it in as it was written. But there is nothing on the article to indicate that this is actually Congressman Roger William's attempt to gin up partisanship.

Just listen to this heated, florid language from the front page.

VANDALISM

As a whole, House Republicans have been called extortionists, terrorists and on a suicide mission with bombs strapped to our chest...and that's just from the Obama Administration.

Somehow there is a source missing for these allegations. I suppose when an article is used as "Special", it doesn't have to be error-checked.

Democratic Senators and the main stream media have hurled similar terms like anarchists, kidnappers, hostage takers, drunks, terrorists, squealing political pigs, arsonists and murderers.

We note that this misses stuff like the Republicans comparing President Obama to hitler, and even calling their fellow Republican, John McCain who is agains the shutdown, as consorting with terrorists. But of course this is because this is a partisan press release which both Poor-Me's as well as attacks Democrats.

In a hateful protest that hits closer to home, anti-Tea Party protesters anonymously vandalized the door to Congressman Roger Williams' district office door in the conservative 25th District of Texas. The signs, the property of Moveon.org, included demeaning terms like "anti-American racists" and "Douchebag Republicans."

Hateful protest. What exactly happened? Unfair Park has a photo in this article.

In Cleburne, of all places, U.S. Rep. Roger Williams' district office door was "vandalized," he tweets, with signs that read "WE'VE HAD ENOUGH TEA. THANKS," "IT'S TIME TO VOTE YOU OUT," "ANTI AMERICAN RACIST" and, with a Donald Trump flourish, "YOU'RE FIRED."

Tea bags were also hung from the door frame, though it's worth pointing out that he actually defeated the Tea Party candidate for his seat last year.

His office says the Cleburne police removed the items and filed the incident under "criminal mischief." "This behavior cannot be tolerated," Williams tweets, referring to the signs and tea bags as "hate speech."

Right. Hate Speech. Please. Somebody needs to tell Mr Williams, who MOVED specifically to get his position and cut another guy who DID live in the district out of the running, that telling your congressperson what you think about him or her and not always using sycophantic speech is NOT hate speech. Are his feelings so delicate that he must always be agreed with, even when he wants to cut a wonderful healthcare program like Affordable Health Care otherwise known as Obamacare? Even WHEN this district has been gerrymandered into a ridiculous shape to make sure Wilting Daisies such as he will keep office?

It's unlikely that even a significant percentage of his district feels as the alleged vandals do. That's because the 25th Congressional District has been gerrymandered into a ludicrous form that stretches jaggedly from Cleburne all the way down to Cedar Park, just northwest of Austin. This district has been designed to be ideologically homogeneous, which is an important contributing factor to why Williams' party has led the country into this current quagmire.

Perhaps Mr Williams has some perfectly manicured nails that would be damaged by having to peel the papers off the door which had been affixed by scotch tape. Someone help him to the fainting couch and bring him some camomile tea to calm him.

P.S. I suppose Mr Williams has had some equally extreme opinions in school when the Protestant Reformation was discussed. Martin Luther, after all, took 95 theses and HAMMERED them into the door of the Roman Catholic Church. By Mr. William's definition, Luther was committing a hate crime.

P.P.S. Roger Williams voted AGAINST the deal the Senate proposed, thereby to KEEP GOVERNMENT SHUT DOWN and allow default. I agree with the sentiments on those papers scotch-taped to his door- "We've Had Enough Tea".

P.P.P.S. I alluded to Gohmert calling John McCain a supporter of Al Quaida. Hilariously, here is John McCain's reply

Didn't like this Perry cohort when he was Secretary of State either. Back then I wrote about the issue of voter machine integrity and the system for calculating votes, while Perry, Williams and the GOP focused on getting Voter Photo ID's as "the real fraudulent issue", which they eventually got through the legislature, but it is still being taken to court.

They didn't give a damn about the voting machines made by Diebold [who provides contributions to the GOP] or how fraudulent the tallying of votes and mail-in votes are.

People like Perry, Williams, Cruz, etc., require more damage control.
