Here's the link to the directory with the audio if you want to hear the entire thing

First, you can hear what was said about forming and okaying the hospital district after the canvass. Then listen to the part about the temporary directors. As you all know, the people who wanted the hospital district wanted to put their cronies on the board instead of having an election in which, say, citizens could run to be on the board. Andy Lucas, the county judge pipes up about having an election in the month of May instead of waiting a year. Mike Ford smacks him down. The code does NOT say to have the election on the *first* Saturday but apparently the MIghty Wind that is Judge Ford blew down Lucas's legal comment.
