Commissioners’ Court of Somervell County met in a special meeting at 9:30 a.m. on the above date with all Commissioners present. County Judge Walter Maynard presided.

OPEN MEETING:

CITIZEN COMMENTS: None

MOTIONS ON AGENDA ITEMS

ITEM NO.

 

1A. Motion was made by Commissioner Cummings and seconded by Commissioner Ford to approve reversal of the rejection of the sealed bid for the GRMC Joint sealers/EIFS Project.  Motion carried. All voting aye.

1B/ Motion was made by Commissioner Ford and seconded by Commissioner Wirt to award the GRMC Joint Sealer/EIFS Project to Centennial Moisture Control at $18,450. Motion carried. All voting aye.

2.. Motion was made by Commissioner Ford and seconded by Commissioner Barnard to award Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant contracts to MechTrend Solutions LLC for installation of controllers at the Expo Center at $26,000, and to Mangrum Air Conditions for installation of air conditioning units at the Heritage Center, Citizens Center and Library at $17,644. Motion carried. All voting aye.

3. Motion was made by Commissioner Cummings and seconded by Commissioner Ford to approve the purchase of a Groundsmaster 4500-D through Buyboard at $50,153.70. Motion carried. All voting aye. 

4. Motion was made by Commissioner Wirt and seconded by Commissioner Barnard to approve advertising and specs for GRMC Roof Project; bids due at 5 p.m. on November 12, 2010, to be opened at 9:30 a.m. on November 15, 2010.  Motion carried. All voting aye.

Motion was made by Commissioner Barnard and seconded by Commissioner Wirt to move

5. $425 from Personnel Group Medical #424-202 to Personnel Unemployment Expense #424-412.

6. Move $50,500 Cap Eq/Furn #450-570 to G/C Eq/Furn #441-570.

Motion carried. All voting aye.

There being no further business, motion was made by Commissioner Ford and seconded by Commissioner Wirt to adjourn at 9:40 a.m.  Motion carried.  All voting aye.
