Project done, tomorrow I go back to mowing and finishing my shade project for the house. Also have a metal arch to put up, but the day is again pretty hot. Love this time of year, though, as the days get shorter and the air is cooler longer in the morning.

Watching "God Grew Tired of Us" about the Lost Boys of Sudan today. Great documentary. Very touching.

Making a wooden horse with your kids

I realized today that I pretty much skip articles that begin with how many people believe this or that based on a poll.

Yeah. This is chutzpah.

EPA is doing a study to look at water uses during gas fracking.

If you went to see the Gasland movie in PA, your tax dollars were used to label you as a potential terrorist.

Welch's grape juice misled consumers.

Charter schools opening in Dallas. This really does beg the question about how having more charter schools, which siphon off kids from public schools and have lower standards, actually help public education. I contend it does not, but instead guts public education.
