Still working on project. Also got a metal archway to replace the one that blew down several years ago when a tornadic wind whipped through here and tore roofs off barns, etc. Along with the archway, I also got a strand of solar lights to put on it that ought to make a clear entrance to the front sidewalk.

Christian terrorist arrested in Concord, NC

City chicken coops in backyards. Me too! I love the Americauna chickens with the green and blue eggs.I have too many roosters at the moment, planning to give away some of them tomorrow and then, after mowing, will let the chickens out to range during the day.

Funny Stephenville story about a woman driving a tractor into a home.

Can someone explain, REALLY explain, just how the heck Texas school finances work? Saw this article in the Stephenville paper about school finance reform that says that currently if property taxes go up, the state gets more of the money and diverts LESS of their share to education. Perry, running again for office, says that Texas doesn't have to spend Fed money for education. And they don't have to spend  all Texas property taxes for education... what DOES go for education? (Incidentally, that Stephenville link says that the way property taxes are being used violates the Texas constitution)

Deadly fireball from natural gas explosion in San Bruno, CA

Morpheus explains the matrix to Lebowski (warning: swearing)

That cross around your neck? It's a flash drive!

Hello Dave.... robots that deceive people.

How many quarters will fit inside your belly button?

Cereal marshmallows

I relate to this because I have and use a camera

Heh. Facebook narcissists.

I have consciously tried to stay away from reading the whole trumped up wanna be fervor over whether other religions get to have their own holy builidings or whether it's okay for people to burn stuff they don't agree with or believe in (including the man who thought only the King James Bible was the true version and was going to burn all the other translations). And that also includes that guy down in Florida that was going to burn the Koran. After all, we DO have religious freedom in this country and anything else is just people trying to stir up the masses. I did find this amusing though, that a guy is Amarillo wanted to get in on the act- Jobsanger.

David Grisham, the leader of an area radical Christian group attempted to publicly set fire to the Islamic Holy book.

"I snook up behind him and took his Quran.  He said something about burning the Quran.  I said 'dude you have no Quran' and ran off." Jacob Isom tells NewsChannel 10.
