Video- Councilperson wants material support for Citizens Center (Glen Rose)

 

This was brought up at the City of Glen Rose retreat meeting and shows a lack of understanding of the division of who owns and operates what (County vs City). The county owns and staffs the citizens center. What also is notable about this is comparing the reactions of the council persons compared to Ronald Bruce talking about the county coming to do roads in Oakdale. If the city balks (rightly so) at supporting the Citizens Center, then why was there no balk when Bruce said the county was going to do the roads (oops, except the commissioners hadn't voted on it).
