I'm sorry but you don't get to claim kinship for a cousin where your relationship is so far back that the man could be cousin to a huge chunk of the population... AND you don't do it in order to try to get a pass for knifing the president.

Immigration Blame from Leftycartoons.com via jobsanger- Incidentally, we can add the nuclear power industry to this cartoon, what with the government backed loans that, if the companies default, the taxpayers will be stuck with.
And more Corporate Welfare-the Oil and Gas companies that move offshore to avoid paying taxes.
According to the most recent study by the Congressional Budget Office, released in 2005, capital investments like oil field leases and drilling equipment are taxed at an effective rate of 9 percent, significantly lower than the overall rate of 25 percent for businesses in general and lower than virtually any other industry.
And for many small and midsize oil companies, the tax on capital investments is so low that it is more than eliminated by var-ious credits. These companies’ returns on those investments are often higher after taxes than before.
Perry doesn't want the federal stimulus funds used the way they're supposed to be.
Craft note: I've been dying stuff with Rit in the washing machine and realize that you dont need to put a lot of water in-ooops. I love wearing t-shirts in the summer, so nice and cool as long as they are cotton, and have been modifying them to make them even cooler. I had a bunch of white t-shirts, or essentially white with some designs that I am dying other colors. So far purple, doing some teal right now and then going to try red. I need to redye the ones I did with navy and black because I put too much water in the washer and they didn't dye as darkly as I wanted.
Also, and will do one long post on this when I get it done, I'm starting to rip apart the umbrella fabric from the broken outdoor umbrellas to use as a *frame* for the green screen cloth I'm going to make into hanging sun block shades. I went to Spare Time yesterday and this charming lady told me that she also had put up the green shade cloth on one of her windows and it significantly cooled her house. I'm pretty excited about the whole idea of doing this. Hub still plans to get a solar fan in the attic working to draw out the heat. Although it might tke me longer, I'd like to get the shade cloths done in the next two weeks, some hanging shade cloths on a pole to draw for the morning sun by the end of July and the shade cloth for one large south facing window down by end of August. Obviously, if I get terrifically motivated, I may finish them quickly, as the way I want to do them won't require a whole lot of work, except for putting grommets, besides sewing the whole thing up. I don't know quantitatively how to figure out how cool it is... maybe I should go at a certain time of the day and record the outside temperature and then see how it is with the shades up.
Fort Wayne County Indiana parents suing school over their children were were made to go to a Bible class onsite. The school is going to lose this one-it's reminiscent of a recent court case in Huntingdon, WV, where the same thing happened.
The group says the classes are non-denominational and use the Good News Bible as a textbook. The class, the website says, "is based on understanding the word of God and applying it to our lives, living as an example of God's love, and trying to be more like Jesus every day."
Um, that's not non-denominational.
