Exactly. TCEQ is a disaster ! If there were a vote today on what that group has done; they would all be replaced and their rules and regulations with them brought into the 21st century. Remember the scotch tape test anyone?

Bwahah. Yes, I do remember that scotch tape test. -this ciip is from a doctor asking specifically how TCEQ tests, and it's an eye opener.

The TCEQ is little more than a permit issuing agency.  The parallels between the MMS and the Oil industry and the TCEQ and the Crushed Aggregate industry are scary.  There were dozens of error in Slick machine's original application - yet it was deemed administratively complete, the application was incomplete, but deemed, compliant with the rules of the TCEQ, the application for the temporary crusher on the underwood property mis-identified the location of nearest residences, but the TCEQ rubber stamped the appliacation anyway.  Stock piles are not to be higher than 45 feet, look at the underwood property - it's much higher than 45 feet.  The TCEQ Air division needs to be either reformed or shut down.

The TCEQ Commissioners review Slick Machine's application on June 30th in Austin.  Attend if you can, the meeting is at 9:30 in the morning which makes for an early trip from Glen Rose, but the Commissioners need to understand we don't want Chalk Mountain destroyed.

Thanks.
