# 2 is about radios that cost about 5000 bucks each. HOw many people are buying DPS a radio? Game warden not part of Somervell County budget process. State was going to furnish a P25 system, lady took another job no words after. Put in grant applicaiton for P25, COG turned us down, but approved Hood County. Somervell County has gotten radios for state. Why?

Commissioners’ Court of Somervell County met in a special meeting at 9:30 a.m. on the above date with all Commissioners present. County Judge Walter Maynard presided.

MOTIONS ON AGENDA ITEMS

ITEM NO.

Motion was made by Commissioner Ford and seconded by Commissioner Wirt to amend item 2 (changing the DPS budget move to $10,000 and the Constable budget move to $10,000) and move

  1. $1,500 from Parks/Landscape Group Medical #443-202 to Parks/Landscape Rep Pts/Supplies #443-350.
  2. $20,000 from Cap Eq & Furn #450-570 to DPS Eq & Furn #427-570 $10,000 and to Constable Eq & Furn #414-570 $10,000.
  3. $900 from Tax Assessor Voter Reg #406-316 $750, Tax Assessor Computer Maint #406-453 $150 to Tax Assessor Eq & Furn #406-570.

Motion carried. All voting aye.

  1. Motion was made by Commissioner Barnard and seconded by Commissioner Cummings to approve the Lease Agreement with the CVB for space at the old Somervell County Jail, and authorize the Judge to sign.  Motion carried. All voting aye.
  2. Motion was made by Commissioner Wirt and seconded by Commissioner Ford to approve the re-plat of tract 84, Glen Rose Hills Subdivision A. Motion carried. All voting aye.
  3. Motion was made by Commissioner Cummings and seconded by Commissioner Ford to approve the time survey.  Motion carried. All voting aye.
  4. Motion was made by Commissioner Barnard and seconded by Commissioner Wirt to approve the transfer of $3,500 to the Prairielands Groundwater Conservation District. Motion carried. All voting aye.
  5. Motion was made by Commissioner Cummings and seconded by Commissioner Ford to approve the Hospital Substantial Completion Certificate, and authorize the Judge to sign. Motion carried. All voting aye.

There being no further business, motion was made by Commissioner Barnard and seconded by Commissioner Wirt to adjourn at 9:56 a.m. Motion carried.  All voting aye.

Chamber moved out, CVB has asked for all the space, new lease with new cost. CVB paying all the cost now. Replaced carpet and flooring at city expense. Old lease terminated?

Time survey 8-5, with one hour off for lunch. Survey checks departments to see what the hours are.
