Notice of Meeting of Board of Directors

 

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Board of Directors of Somervell County Water District (the “District”) will be held on February 8, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., at its regular meeting place in the offices of the District, 2099 CR 301, Glen Rose, Texas. The subject of the meeting is to consider and act upon the following:

 

             Call to Order

             Hear Public Comments

1.      Consider/take action on minutes of December 14, 2009 and January 28, 2010

2.      Consider/take action on non-recurring bills

3.      Consider/take action on Wheeler Branch Park & Boat Ramp Construction Contract

4.      Consider/take action on 2008/2009 Annual Audit

5.      Consider/take action on 2010 SCAD Contract

6.      Consider/take action on First Financial Bank Depository Agreement Extension

7.      Consider/take action with respect to “A Resolution by the Board of Directors of Somervell County Water District Calling a General Election to Be Held Within the District on May 8, 2010, for the Purpose of Electing Three Directors of the District and appointing election officers

8.      Consider/take action on Interlocal Agreement with Somervell County for Lease of Voting Equipment

9.      Consider/take action on Water Supply Plan Revision

10.  Consider/take action on Purchase of Real Estate

11.  General Managers report

·         SCWD Weather Station

·         Somervell Central Appraisal District Board Member Election

·         Wheeler Branch Treatment Plant Update

·         WBBS Monthly Report – General Fund

·         WBBS Monthly Report – Capital Projects Fund

            12.   Adjourn

 

            At any time during the meeting, the Board of Directors may adjourn into closed, executive session with respect to one or more of the items listed above, in compliance with the applicable provisions of the Texas Open Meetings Act, Tex. Gov’t Code Ann. ch. 551, subch. D, as amended (Sec. 551.071, consultation with attorney; Sec. 551.072, deliberation about real property; Sec. 551.073, deliberations about gifts and donations; Sec. 551.074, personnel matters; Sec. 551.076, deliberations about security devices; Sec. 551.086, economic development).
