Good morning,
I wanted to take this opportunity to warn you of an active Aggravated Robbery suspect operating in Cleburne. Twice in the last 3 weeks he has gone to area car washes and pretended to wash his vehicle or work on his vehicle in a stall. He has used two different vehicles, and older model maroon Ford Thunderbird at the crime he carried out at the carwash located at Granbury and Poindexter at 2245 hrs. The second is an aqua colored Chevrolet Pickup with one spare tire on the vehicle. The latest incident occurred last night at the carwash located in the 200 blk. of Country Club at 1957 hrs. Each time he approaches his victims and displays a Glock semi – automatic pistol. He is very calm and demands wallets, and cash. Each victim was asked to turn around after the robbery, and felt they were going to be executed. However the suspect has fled to his vehicle and left. It is our concern these robberies will turn deadly. The suspect is described as a Hispanic Male, 6’ to 6’2” 175 – 215 lbs. He apparently sounds educated. He has seriously threatened each victim. Please pass this on to your employees. It is our recommendation that if you find it necessary to wash your personal vehicles at a self serve carwash, please do so before the dark hours, and be cognizant of your surroundings.
