Ruminations of the Easily Amused for October 21 2009

I continue to be hugely busy this week so if you've sent me anything for posting (and you know who you all are), I'll get to it when I can. I have one more large project that I promised to get done for a charity organization and I have set myself up on a timetable to finish it this week no matter what. After that I have a project in mind for this site involving the crime stats. My next fun project after that is that I want to start making wooden toys.

Early Voting started yesterday for the NOVEMBER 3RD ELECTION.

The new e-reader by B&N is out-but is it DRM-free?

Solar charger for small devices like cell phones.

Alito calls out people who are concerned over the Roman Catholic majority on the Supreme Court.

Tiny North American dinosaur discovered.

I haven't written much about politics at the national level lately but have been thinking quite a bit about a *scorecard* so far of how  I believe Obama's doing. Anyone that wants to post their own, go for it. Next week, probably, for me.
