CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLEN ROSE
MAY 11, 2009 - 5:30 PM
COUNCIL CHAMBERS – TOWN HALL
 
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GLEN ROSE WILL MEET AT 5:30 P.M. ON MONDAY, MAY 11, 2009, IN TOWN HALL, 201 NE VERNON STREET, TO DISCUSS AND POSSIBLY TAKE ACTION ON THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
 
AGENDA:    
 
 1.       Citizen Comments: This is for citizens to comment on any subject concerning city business that is not on the current agenda. Members of the Council may answer direct questions, but no action may be taken at this meeting.
 
 2.       Approve minutes of previous meeting(s). 
 
 3.       Present Proclamation declaring May as Motorcycle Safety & Awareness Month.
 
 4.       Adopt Resolution accepting Oakdale Park as a Glen Rose 4B Tax Economic Development Project (First Reading).
 
 5.       Discuss and possibly reach agreement on future of old Tailor Building in Heritage Park.
 
 6.       Reconsider and possibly approve expansion of the Preservation District, as requested by the Historic Preservation Board.
 
 7.       Reconsider and possibly approve new Official Zoning Map.
 
 8.       Consider and determine interest in Texas Parks & Wildlife’s proposed Paddling Trail from Hwy. 67 to Sandlin’s, about 10 miles down-river.
 
 9.       Update on Riverwalk progress.
 
10.       Update on 4B Economic Development Tax Corporation committee activities.
 
11.       Update on Texas Department of Transportation’s progress on flood control problems in Stadium Addition.
 
12.       CVB Report.
 
13.     Executive Session: Pursuant to Open Meetings Act, Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, Sections 551.071 - 551.074 {Revised by SB1851, 1999 Legislative Session}, Council will adjourn into Executive Session to discuss real property.
