Ruminations of the Easily Amused for April 9.2009

9 April 2009 at 2:00:33 PM

I've been wondering, re: that catfish restaurant on 144. For the last 8 years, there's been a big sign on it that said "God Bless Our President". Every time I passed by I saw that sign. Then Obama got elected. What happened to the sign? Does the person who believes it's a good idea to ask God to bless our president think it only applies to Republican presidents?

The bluebonnetts are astounding today. Here's some yard pictures.

It's far easier to load a uhaul than unpack it. We went down yesterday to help out my mom with clearing out the garage. Because my dad had been very organized, it was pretty easy to load up all the stuff. Now comes the hard part-we have to return the trailer tomorrow, and also have to sometime soon go through all the stuff, decide what we want to keep, toss, or donate. That's going to take DAYS!!!

I'm on a diet and the way I will know when I am thin enough is by my pants size.

Is Youtube doomed (I better make sure I back up all this stuff I made on DVD! )

Well, THIS is good news! The CIA is no longer operating secret prisons. Um. That admits that they were. How creepy is THAT!

And here's your mandatory Stare at Katie Holmes the Little Boy pause. From The Superficial.
