Movie Watch-Watched *The Omega Man* Last night as well as *West World*
Both, I think, from the 1970's. James Brolin looked, in that movie, like a twin to Christian Bale (who we watched tne night before in *The Dark Knight*.). Westworld's a pretty good movie, and if you've seen it, you know how smug Brolin is at the beginning as he smiles knowingly at Richard Benjamin, who is on his first trip to the resort playland.Yul Brynner plays a great robo-creep. Michael Crighton also wrote that puppy.
I had watched "I am Legend" a while back, with Will Smith, and thought it was pretty good, although the ending seemed to be targeted to fundies. Not so "The Omega Man*. Really great movie and both hub and I thought this was why Charlton Heston was a member of the NRA! Hah! Neither The Omega Man nor I Am Legend is apparently true to the original story, which had a much darker ending. Nonetheless, it was well worth watching.
