Who CARES how people are dressed when they're overseas visiting other countries?
for, for that matter, in THIS country. Here's Hillary Clinton in a hijab from when she was visiting a muslim country when her HUSBAND was president (Incidentally, WHEN is Bill Clinton going to release all those papers from when Hillary Clinton was wife in the white house???? Hmmmmm?) UPDATE: According to this site, what Clinton is wearing is not a hijab but a traditional dress-my point still remains that it was not her typical American pantsuit.)
Unless the person (persons) distributes the picture trying to bolster a bogus email smear. What's more telling is that it is apparently the Clinton campaign that is distributing this, as opposed to, say, you or me. And you KNOW they're doing it to be divisive. The photo is not divisive but the reason behind distributing it, IS. SHAME on Hillary Clinton.
Now let's look at some OTHER pictures of people wearing garb from other countries. LIke, Here's President Bush wearing a Yamaka. (Um, he is NOT Jewish!)
This is Bush in Australia but you got me without looking what the heck THAT outfit is supposed to be.
Here's Laura Bush wearing a head scarf
So, there's certainly nothing wrong with wearing the garb of a country you're visiting (although, yeah, Bush wearing a Yamaka was bizarre!) but there IS something wrong if the campaign that distributes it is doing so in a not so hidden attempt to smear Obama on the basis of that false internet email rumor.
P.S. This originally came from Drudge Report, which I don't read, but saw the link to elsewhere. He not only says that he has the email that shows the pic was circulated by the Clinton campaign (and their comments in email SHOW that they didn't have a benign intent) but also has some photos of people wearing the garb of the countries they're visiting.
